Xbox one beta is sub 1080p: confirmed

They have had years to work on it. 32mb of esram isn't enough for 1080p gaming. Highly doubt this will be 1080p at launch... if ever.

22 RepliesMaster Chief collection is 1080p, 60fps. Destiny is 1080p, 30fps. This is just factual information. I'm very happy with my console. Games are gorgeous, and Destiny looks gorgeous at 1080p. The Xbox One is a solid system architecture where it can easily reach 1080p, we know this because of games reaching 1080p. Bias has no place in factual information.

As a playstation player, I would only say its a little disappointing that the xbox guys get a lower resolution beta. I would have really liked to see some comparison videos before launch, but only because the gpu's work differently. I'm always sceptical of any post that says its going to be x for beta but y for full launch. I just hope that bungie come through. Anyway I'm sure the xbox guys out there are looking forward to downloading and playing beta as much if not more so than the playstation guys. Have fun players.

15 RepliesOMG its not 1080P well then its not worth getting out of bed for this game it will be unplayable at less than 1080P .Who cares what the game play is like its all about 1080P and really PS4 does 1080P who can play that when we now have 4K '1080P standard definition. Really people as long as the game play is great who cares what its running at I'm still playing games that are at 720P it not an issue my problem is im interest in the game itself not the resolution its running at .

You have been playing the beta on PS, so why the hell do you care if Xbox One is 1080p or not? The XB1 beta is 900p, as the game was going to be before the new SDK for Xbox came out. With the new SDK Bungie and many other news outlets have confirmed that Destiny gold runs in 1080p. Good day sir.
