So the logic is here is let's make a good impression on the Playstation community by (in part) making a bad impression on the xbox community? Sounds legit... If PS had early access to the beta but both xbox and PS had equal play time, they could have made a good impression, while not taking a shit on an entire community. PS beta - starts 7/17 ends 7/27 Xbox beta - starts 7/23 - ends 8/3 not rocket science... Playing favorites is already looked down on, but playing favorites while simultaneously insulting the side you didn't choose, is even worse.

That gives them ("them" as in Bungie and/or Activsion) a free pass to play favorites with the PS community, while also showing disinterest in the opposing side? It's like a political candidate distancing himself from the states that got him into office, because the votes he's focusing on now are better for advancing his career. As I said, Just because they need to play favorites with the PS community, doesn't mean they have to apparently show a genuine disinterest in the xbox community. You want to show all screenshots and gameplay vids on the PS4? Fine. You want to give them timed exclusives? fine. You want to give the PS community alpha access? fine, but when it comes time to deliver on the one thing everyone has been looking forward to, the reason a lot of people even pre-ordered in the first place, and the one thing that is arguably the hottest, most talked about topic among the community, regardless of platform, and then they pull (or a least agreed to it) some shit like this, even though the xox community was "reassured" multiple times from Bungie about how "we didn't forget about you," and "you are in store for greatness." That's just bad business. That goes beyond simply trying to make a good impression for a new community. If anything, it shows that the business side of their careers is more important than the creative side or even the community side. It's like a band that doesn't care how they got successful, as long as they remain successful.
