I don't think you can really roll through it. I imagine the thing has a massive lingering hitbox so that no matter how high your agility is, rolling directly through it will be impossible. Dodging to the side is probably possible though.

Possibly. Dead on I'm not so sure, but maybe off to the side where it can clip you.
