is destiny an mmo or fps or a rpg?

Well. To be honest. Its really a FPS, with elements of an RPG (leveling and customization, crafting, etc...), with more elements of MMO, though it will not be a craowded place other than the Tower. So the Tower will be the "public" space, while the rest will resemble a co-op fps with loot. There will be other public spaces for raids, and others too... for example the random quests for MP. But for all intents and purposes, there will be no "Witches" on this game... or in it, or under it, or...

Cant really say till it comes out, everybody is guessing, they said shared world shooter, because well they can have hundred of players on a planet work ng together, which can be confused as a mmorpg, but they dont have the mechanics or bases of one, its everybodu has fps mechanics.

You have a role and you play that role in the game, never known a game to to have a role to play. I think I'm wrong but at the same time I think I'm right, some one set me straight please.

They're calling it a shared world shooter. It is like borderlands but with a better campaign and less loot drops mixed with the online multiplayer feeling of the elder scrolls online. In simpler words it's skyrim with guns online.

Plainly stated, [b]Destiny is an ARPG Shooter.[/b] It's a shoot and loot game. I have a feeling that back in the day, Bungie didn't fully understand what they had on their hands. Or how deep the investment and customization systems would go eventually go. However, based on all the recent articles, interviews and first impressions - I can safely say without hesitation - Destiny is an ARPG shooter. Plain and simple.
