I'm concerned how are they going to keep the tension and scares up for 10h if it's only one Alien.

Perhaps its all in the atmosphere and pacing. Turn you into a human puddle of emotions and then send the Xeno after you.

From another video I seen, the Alien is constantly hunting you down. Non scripted, just controlled by AI. So I guess it can come at any point in time when it finds you.
