0-16 to 10-6 in 3 years. Hes not a bad coach. Stafford is a bad QB.
English
-
Stafford isn't that bad, it's the decision making that hurts him.
-
He's a Jeff Fisher coach. He's trash and so is Fisher. Both of their teams are undisciplined.
-
Stafford isn't a bad quarterback, he just needs to improve his reads and decision making. Like throwing to receivers that aren't named Calvin Johnson.
-
Stafford isn't a bad quarterback, he just needs to improve his reads and decision making.
.....Thats what a bad QB needs to do. Congrats, he has a strong arm. So does every other QB in the league. The guy is dumb and cant win with the 2nd best receiver of all time and a top 10 RB.
-
Congrats, he has a strong arm. So does every other QB in the league.
Pat Devlin. Granted he has never played in a regular game, but the guy can't throw it very far.
-
HEY HE WAS GREAT IN DELAWARE!
-
And he looks great against NFL players who get cut the next day. But when he came in against backups in preseason, he looked lost.
-
well thats why he is a 3rd string/practice squad player.
-
He also has to deal with ridiculous injuries to his weapons constantly. Bush and Johnson were only "healthy" for 12 games each, Burleson missed 7 games, Pettigrew's been in and out, and Broyles ended his year with a torn Achilles. That's the top 5 receivers on the team.
-
Tannehill had a starting receiver and the starting TE go on IR before the season started, and Wallace was playing with a hamstring problem for about half the season, but nobody is using that as an excuse for the dolphin's season.
-
Every team has injuries.
-
Then he took a 10-6 team to 4-12 with 21 of the 22 same starters.
-
You cant act like that is all his fault. Stafford choked games away and had under 60% completion percentage with the 2nd best WR of all time. Plus 7/10 of his throws are dumpoffs to bell and bush. You'd think that would raise his completion %.
-
It doesn't help when his receivers continually lead the league in drops and fumbles. Stafford sure isn't perfect, but he's never had a decent coach. The team's had a constant attitude issue, and Schwartz has had a ton of game managing gaffs that have hurt the team. I understand that he's done good things for the team, but something had to change.
-
I agree with something needed to change. I mean shit, I'm an eagles fan. I'm happy as hell andy reid got fired.
-
So, we'll see what happens. I may be eating my words in 2015, but I'm glad the Fords did more than apologize to the fans this year.
