I remember a thread on the old Bungie.net of pictures from HFCS.

Pretty sure you're kidding anyways, but the word "Destiny" with regards to Bungie games could be considered a reference all the way back to a Terminal half-way through Marathon 1, though most are likely a reference to the end of Infinity (Destiny is the last word on-screen).

Mate, having spent the last six years on this site, I've come to realize that when it comes lore references, connections, easter eggs, and generally having shit planned right from the get go, you should NEVER underestimate Bungie. If it sounds to good to be true, but involves Bungie, it probably is true.
