similar to bitcoin, you can mine them with your computer (but unless you have a powerful gpu, it's pointless to do so, especially now). the hope is that they'll continue going up in value, which is perfectly possible because they're only a week old.

no, but you can exchange it for money or other cryptocurrencies. currently, it's near worthless (the op is a joke, that was just one idiot buying them for that much, they aren't worth that much), but they could skyrocket in price.
