Bioware's unwillingness to disown Dragon Age II, plus their complete loss of brand credibility, makes me very hesitant with this. I don't think anyone should be hyped for this until it's proven the real deal post launch.

If it were at all possible, I'd be wary of any game pre-launch. But, my fanboyism prevents me from that.

I've never been disappointed by a Bioware product. My body is ready.
-
So because one game was bad, they lost all credibility? wut?
-
I wouldn't be making that post if Bioware didn't bring their A game to a single title. It's a bunch of issues from Dragon Age II's poor quality, the issues with the Mass Effect games, the culture problems within Bioware, lots of the Origins talent having left the company, the problems with EA, a big part of Bioware games involves getting screwed with Day 1 DLC integral to the game. Bioware has demonstrated that they don't deserve people's trust. Sure, some of that is possibly EA's fault. A lot of the blame is on Bioware though.

So let me get this straight. Bioware have lost all credibility because Dragon Age II sucked, and the ME games weren't God tier? Top kek

Edited by Vgnut: 9/3/2013 8:21:35 AMA credible developer is one I can trust to put out a great game. I trust Bungie to put out a great game. I trust Rockstar North to put out a great game. I trust CD Projekt RED to put out a great game. These are developers you can put $60 down for and know you're getting something great. I don't have faith in Bioware to put out a great game or to be upfront about what I'm getting. I would not be surprised if Inquistion came out at $60 and then it's "surprise it'll actually cost $70 to get the complete game because there's an integral part of the game we're selling as $10 DLC on release day!"

Because a greater evil lurks in the shadows.

Confirmed: EA is the new Archdemon

Those bastards.

Well, yeah. One of the two games in the series sucked, and it was the last one that came out

In the dragon age series, I mean

That doesn't meant they've lost all credibility. They've proven that they can make quality games multiple times, and one mess up means nothing.
