I have a $500 laptop capable of playing this game on high, people around here need help shopping XD

Woah what are the specs of that?

It's a HP G6 with a 2.4 GHz i3, 4GB RAM, and a Radeon HD 7670m (1 GB) GPU. Not incredible, but game debate says I can play it on medium-high, which means I can put at least half of the effects of the game on high, while leaving things like shadows and lighting at medium. I bought it while it was on sale and got a coupon code online, end cost was $512 including shipping. I'm a satisfied customer :D

Nice! I have a PC that cost me £500 to build (although things are more expensive in England so it doesn't convert properly to $).

I think it's mainly due to our tax system, which puts 20% on all purchases of "luxury" goods.
