I barely know what the story is and I'm interested simply because of Bald Matt Damon.

The rest of the human race inhabits the dystopian, overpopulated Earth. Bald Matt Damon (Max De Costa) contracts cancer due to a radiation accident, and has to make it to Elysium in 5 or so days to cure himself because Elysium has top notch health care. Basically it's one huge allegory for the issues we currently face today, such as the 99% and Occupy Wall Street. Plus it's directed by Neil Blomkamp so it's bound to be one of the movies of the year. Hopefully.
