Without knowing what they plan currently it'd be hard to guess. Will their focus be on implementing PVP into their shared open world, or will it be lobbies as many MMOs utilize? Personally I'd like to see an open world focus, perhaps an entire planet fighting for resources. Anyone not in a group with you is red, party up for support or camp an objective and farm kills until you get taken out. Just my opinion but I find open world PVP is much more immersive rather than queuing up and waiting for a 'battleground/warzone' to pop. Also full axis, open space fighter combat. As long as they have this I don't really care if the rest of the game is terrible. Customizable space ships with full action combat in persistent space is something no one else does (EVE doesn't count, their combat is not action based. EVE is a spreadsheet, not a game).

Didn't call Destiny an MMO. I used the example of the types of PVP in MMOs because Destiny's world and servers are similar to MMO servers, not lobby shooters like Halo or CoD. But just to humor you, here's a list of Destiny's features followed by the genre they're more akin to, shooter or MMO. Persistent world - MMO Massive amounts of people playing together at once while online - Definition of the term MMO Character leveling, item collection and upgrades - MMO Social hubs within the persistent world - MMO Fast-paced action oriented combat - shooter AND some MMOs In fact they've described Destiny as being able to hold massive amounts of players at the same time. Massive amounts of players together, online. That's literally what MMO stands for, massively multiplayer online. Just because they've avoided using that term (keep in mind I said avoided using the term, they haven't said it's not an MMO) doesn't mean it doesn't check off nearly everything an MMO has, and has much more in common with MMOs than current lobby shooters like Halo. EDIT: Like I've said in many other threads I'm not calling Destiny an MMO, and I don't care what anyone calls it. I'm simply pointing out that pretending it's nothing like an MMO is just silly.
