My two cents
I have had 4 playstations and 3 xboxs. I have 2 working xboxs and no working playstaions. that said I have never owned a PS3, after 4 other sonys broke I never looked back. I am not saying I will not consider the PS4, but I am leaning XB1 just on previous experience. Ultimately I will wait for Destiny's release and decide then.

you must tear your consoles up. I still have a ps one.

Edited by Wintermute: 7/16/2013 11:54:41 PMI do, but my xboxs take it like a champ. The only xbox that died was crammed into a mini ATX case. Edit: I also have two kids that help smash things

What I have noticed is that xbox 360 had over heating issues but other than that they could take alot of abuse. PlayStation systems don't have any big issues but you have to take care of them.

I've had my ps3 since day one and no hardware issues.

And I don't take care of it.

I knew a classmate who's gif dropped/slammed it on the floor. The ps3 kept going like a tank.

My friend dropped his ps3, we were moving it from the living room to his basement, it fell down a flight of stairs and worked fine. Somehow.
