Why doesn't Bungie administer IP bans?
Seeing as how it is remarkably easy to circumvent a ban on this site, why doesn't Bungie implement an IP ban system. (i'm not stellar with network details) I realize that things could get sticky with dynamic allocation, but it seems like a more thorough method to me than simply banning an account.

I'm pretty sure they IP banned an entire college dorm before by accident.

1 ReplyEdited by Lord Commissar: 7/1/2013 4:04:46 PMThey did at one time, however they ran into the problem where they were banning every user from a certain college sbecause one person who attended them broke the rules. It's still fairly easy to get around an IP ban though.
