Wow lol, try harder next time kid.
The Kinect sensor can be turned off at any time, it is not mandatory. The Xbox One simply comes packaged with it so you do not have to go out and buy one yourself. If you do not want it, then you are not forced to use it. And I do not understand the problem with used games that everyone has. If you want a game, go buy it, instead of trading your games with all of your friends and stealing money from the game developers.

Who do you think your calling kid? Article from 6 hours ago
As well as always-on internet requirements and used game concerns, Microsoft's Xbox One console has raised eyebrows over the way it uses its new Kinect motion and sound sensor. A constantly-connected requirement of the console, many feared that it could result in an invasion of privacy, recording any actions that occurred in front of it and sending them back to Microsoft for some devious marketing purpose. That, Microsoft have today insisted, is not the case. "At Microsoft, we prioritize your privacy," the company wrote in a new post to Xbox.com. "We understand that your personal data and privacy are important. "When Xbox One is on and you're simply having a conversation in your living room, your conversation is not being recorded or uploaded." Instead, the Kinect controller, when not in use, is only ever waiting to hear the "Xbox On" command to activate the console, and is otherwise idling. Microsoft also revealed that you can "pause" the motion sensor, controlling the console through traditional means like a gamepad or remote control when gestures and voice commands are switched off. All this will be clearly detailed upon set up, with the Xbox One navigating you through privacy options that include a choice between manual and automatic log-ins, and notifications on how you data is used. As previously stated, some games will use Kinect as a mandatory, required feature, and some will indeed send data gathered back to servers. Microsoft again insist this is only for the benefit of the experience, with fitness games for instance tailoring work outs based on the data they gather, or a card game allowing you to bluff using facial expressions. Though such games will not work if the Kinect is in a "paused" state, the Xbox One will ask for explicit permission before sending data back to a server.
Notice how they said "pause" and didn't say switched off, paused implies it is still active whereas it should have the option to be completely disconnected, yet it has to be connected for the xbox to function-even if we can pause it.

You obviously haven't been keeping up with the news on the box. It's long been confirmed that Kinect is 100% required to use the console. You can't use it unless Kinect is plugged in. Also, Kinect is always on and listening, even if the Xbox is off. This has been confirmed by Microsoft.

So full of shit that I don't know how you haven't drowned yet... Ahem... The Kinect may have to be plugged in, but Microsoft just recently said that you can turn it off for as long as you want. That has been conformed by Microsoft. there's a brand spanking new thread, created today on it somewhere here.

Nope you can only pause some of it's functions, the kinect has to be plugged in for the xbox to work. Note how they used the word "pause" and not "turn off", it still waits for commands therefore it is not turned off.

Nope, the Kinect can be turned off. You kids are so gullible, stop believing every damn thing you read on the internet.
