I find it very odd that such precision weapons are consistently imprecise.

They're more precise than regular battlefield operations IIRC; the ratio of confirmed militant deaths to civilian deaths is higher compared to most other forms of retaliation.

Are the same, loose definitions of 'militants' or whatever vernacular they're using applied towards those same battlefield operations?
