I think their X-Boxes breaking all the time is a marketing ploy. It has great games that are only on the 360...and then your 360 breaks, so you have to pay to get it fixed, and sooner or later it breaks again, so you have to keep paying to get it fixed, and keep pouring out money for them.

Th original xbox and slim arent problem prone, the 360 on the other hand, well ive been through six but only paid for one.

I've had my xbox since '08 and its still running great!

MS lost money replacing faulty consoles, so I doubt it.

3 years on this 360, nothing wrong with it

i've had my 360 s for 2 years and it still runs great. i dont see what the fuss is all about

My first 360 apparently decided to turn off permanently about a year after I got it. Still wondering when my new one will break down too.

i'm sorry about that, but i have had no problems with Microsoft. Works great for me

I had a launch console, and it broke down after a year. I bought one of the newer consoles that had slight changes to fix the problem, and it has worked flawlessly for years. At this point people still complaining about RROD are either still playing on launch consoles or are full of shit (probably the latter).
