Destiny: The Crackpot theories
Lets hear them people. Discuss the most crazy Destiny theories you lot can come up with - I want to hear tales of dragons, traveling death stars and magnets as well as everything in between.

A complex, intriguing narrative of competing factions, epic storylines featuring fully fleshed out characters and the awakening of an ancient AI - Rasputin - who would betray us all ...was cynically dropped by a bunch of pencil pushing suits who started to panic that the CoD fans wouldn't understand it, so they pulled the plug and released a game with fantastic gameplay and the sam placeholder filler scenes from the Beta.

Rasputin's final solution is to use the vex to protect humanity from the darkness. It is he who the vex worship and he plans to let the vex succeed in the vault of glass by letting them transcend physical existence so he can use them to remove the darkness from reality.

Either that or the Traveler's a giant cueball and aliens are tearing things to shreds because they can't finish their game of cosmic-pool without it. The people of Earth never got to play and in turn went to war with the "darkness." ..All over a lazy game of cosmic-pool

Firefight was created/designed using a user friendly dev tool that will eventually become an 'instance forge' in Destiny. Players can design their levels and place patrolling/defending AI throughout, similar to Starcraft II's AI patrol system. One can access these instances through a portal in the city Hub. [i]I just want to forge singleplayer experiences.[/i]

If you type in the Konami code at the loading screen, you get a version of Destiny that is (*GASP*) actually a really fantastic game.
