Conservatives and liberals love America, yes, but I think members from both sides are much more interested in certain groups. For example, Republicans prefer rich Christians while Democrats prefer poor minorities. That's pretty much a fact.

Democrats have come to represent a larger portion of the population than Republicans because of the extremism that has been emerging in the right wing. Democrats tend to represent highly educated individuals (it is a fact that the more education one has PAST undergraduate school, the more liberal he or she is), minorities, and women. Republicans, with their intransigence on tax policy and growing appeal to evangelicals, have attracted the business elite and white Christian males.

Wait, you honestly think that our lawyers, businessmen and doctors actually support fiscal liberalism? Lollllllll. I can see how many more people are becoming socially liberal, but I can't take fiscal liberals seriously when they honestly believe that our most educated are becoming liberal, in that regard. Yet, even if you're right, it'll be an amusing day when liberals finally realize that you can't cut from the rich to pay for the poor. If people actually continue on this path.
