Damn I need to read the books. The Halo story is so much deeper than I'd ever imagined.

  • If you do read them, you may have to read them multiple times in order to understand. So many things made so much more sense when I read Cryptum for the second time.

  • Just a warning. Dear God it's confusing! And (this isn't really a spoiler) but 95% of Primordium is "They walked." Literally. They walked. And walked. And walked.

Worse than The Lord of the Rings in terms of "they walked"?

  • Yeah. Cryptum is great, but Primordium is confusing and boring. I mean, a lot more of it makes sense after playing Halo 4, but it was near unbearable during the first read-through.
