I hope not. I've lost faith in Halo. I did after Halo 3. Companies are so interested in pleasing everyone that they are starting to please hardly anyone. I hope someone recognizes this and goes back to trying to get a cult following instead of trying to please the masses which is impossible.

The only place Destiny has gotten any attention is in this community - we may be personally disappointed (which I somehow doubt) but this would not result in a "flop".

Destiny doesn't have any hype yet because it's still under wraps. Bungie's backed by the people who make CoD now, they know how to hype a game.

Hype has nothing to do with the quality of a game.

I think that being personally dissapointed by a game because your expectations were too high and a game flopping are two entirely different things.
