I don't think Destiny 3 would do well. Maybe a prequel with Iron Lords first appearing leading up to Guardians following next. I think that would be a better sell.

D3 is not the answer at all current bungie couldnt do destiny or marathon, why does adding the number 3 get you people's rocks off so hard? D3 with current bungie would be a pile of slop where you regrind your d1 and d2 gear and they call it content, and people like you would gobble it up....

Can we stop pretending like D3 will magically fix things. It would literally be D2 all over again, same problems. As long as they( leadership ), keep making the same choices that have led us to the current state of D2, nothing will change.

Kind of sad marathon will probably die within a few years unless Bungie pulls a crazy move. I rather like it.

I'm talking brain rolling around in your head like a ball bearing, room temperature IQ, drooling invalid. In what world would the current devs at Bungie make a good Destiny game? Everyone who made Destiny what it was is gone and the only ones left are the -blam!- who can't even be bothered to draft up a road map in six months. But sure, have them make a Destiny 3. At this point it's just going to be a microtransaction store with a battle pass attached. But sure keep salivating over a game that will do nothing but continue the downtrend in quality.

D2 came out in 2017, that's like.. two years ago 2019 to now don't count

Maybe it'll drop in 2077, it would probably take Bungie that long to get creative enough to make a new Destiny game. I wonder if they would be running unreal engine or the same crap servers in Tiger engine.
