Well, well, well, well !! Marathon is [b]not[/b] “popping off”. Who could have [i]possibly[/i] foreseen this scenario?🙃. Oh, wait a minute, everyone with a -blam!--ing modicum of anything resembling mid-wittery saw this coming. I have seen the other posts here and just wanted to say my tuppence worth on the subject of Marathon. As many other people have said, including myself, from the very beginning of the news about Marathon:- 1. Why are you chasing a niche genre like extraction shooters? 2. Why are you abandoning Destiny for this genre? 3. Why are you lying about the fact that Marathon won’t affect future Destiny development or D2’s server stability? 4. After the alpha, we all wanted to know the answer to one question, “Why have you neglected and abandoned Destiny for this slop?” 5. I just wanted you all to know at Bungie, thank you for the beautifully flawed games that are Destiny 1 and 2. Respectfully, though I want to reiterate point 4, after watching hours of gameplay and streamers play Marathon live:- [b]“WHY HAVE YOU NEGLECTED AND ABANDONED DESTINY FOR THIS UTTER SLOP THAT IS MARATHON?”[/b] I believe that you’re about get your FO moment after F-ingA with the D2 community for years. It makes me sad to think that Destiny will probably die now, and for what? Marathon? 🤣 Gummy-bears? 🤣 No, Destiny 2 is going to die because of the hubris and stupidity of a few people at the top of Bungie that made these decisions and then tried to bail themselves out by making a deal with Sony when they realised they had 💩 the bed. Again. 🤦‍♂️
