6 RepliesLooter shooter v Extraction shooter. Apples v Oranges. Personally I prefer Apples. I'll have a taste of the orange when they do the 'Come taste the Orange' play test. Who knows? Maybe I'll then find I also have a penchant for Oranges. I'll still eat mostly Apples, even those going a bit off, and on their way out. I'll likely have Oranges as well. Apples and Oranges are not mutually exclusive.

6 RepliesThere is already a decent extraction shooter out right now. Arc raiders. But to think that game will last a long time is not rational. Marathon won't compete at all, expect it to be as dead as destiny is now in a few months, if not weeks.

1 ReplyIt will be popular for like 4 days then it will go downhill after most popular streamers get tired of it then it's going to be the popular Destiny streamers playing it for about 2 weeks because they need to represent Bungie (Sweatcicle, Datto, ZK, Azectross*? Etc) then they will be all waiting for the next Destiny update 😂

What's there from marathon anyway? With the positive thing being the "smooth gunplay" as usual, sounds like destiny reskinned as extraction shooter while using the name Marathon for nostalgia selling

Well marathon seems to be getting traction now ! Watched a video and it had higher like ratio …the hate thrown has been dumb and slit of people has very small minds and the rest are jaded because of destiny . Marathon is looking alright

Bungie makes Destiny then goes to make marathon which is another extraction shooter… they didn’t even think of a unique way to mess up I’m talking about titan fall 2 and apex legends when I mean this
