Should I keep Playing with it?
Hey Guys I have a Problem, I have a God Roll PVE Lunas howl with Incan and Subsistance and I LOVE THIS GUN but….its not a „new“ wepons so it cant get the 5% artifact Bonus and when Avantgarde is Activ I just cant Play with it and it just feels incomplete cuz its not a Tier weapon so should I still Play with it or should I put in in the vault in hopes hat some day you can Put Tiers on old Guns what are you guys Thoughts on This am I driving myself Crazy or is it something Other People think about?

Like anything use it until you find something better. I still use mine, heal clip incandescent. The closest thing to it now is a strand trials handcannon. The solar ib handcannon is not great and date tbd.

Edited by Raijinmeister: 1/27/2026 9:30:30 AMI use whatever is useful. 5% extra damage will not make or break anything; it was 10% back then, and I used for the majority of the time stuff that was not "new gear" and did everything I wanted, except the stupid rank missions with the Avant-I want to lose my job because the game I work in will shut down because of nonsense like this-garde modifier.

Every single one of my 12 load-out slots has builds saved with my favorite OLD weapons... except the one that I use specifically for the Avant-Garde modifier/activities. Lost Signal, Reckless Oracle, Chill Inhibitor, Aberrant Action, Supremacy, GoldTusk ... weapons that I personally crafted to my liking, with a memento & time stamp to mark my accomplishment. To me, the 5% isnt worth the time & materials I invested for such personalized weapons. The portal & new weapons have their benefits, but dont let that diminish the fun you have with other parts of the game.

1 ReplyUse whatever you want. It's just a game and your enjoyment is the only thing that matters. I have 14k kills on Eriana's Vow and I'm going to keep using it.

Ignore the meta, ignore the new gear bonus, and use what you feel works for you.

I have that as well and I still use it quite a bit for solar builds. I still use older weapons quite a bit in my builds. Riposte is good for void as an example.
