Vault Storage Glitched
Can no longer store items into the Vault, but I can take them out. The screen no longer goes dark when in Vault mode. Please fix.
Capacity: 697/700
P.S. maxing out Vault space at 1000 would be optimal going into Renegades due to different Lightsabers being stored into the Vault.
Update: You have to manually go into Vault mode by pressing L3 on your Character Screen for PS5. Find out which button it is on your respective platforms.

1 ReplyI found how on Xbox, on your character screen click left thumbstick to go into vault mode and store from that, it works.

Use the Destiny 2 app or DIM. You can store items using those methods. This will, at least, allow you to store items until Bungie learns how to take code that worked last week and compare it to the Tuesday update. Goes back to the TRON and TROFF debugging commands. There has always been a change in code that messes something up, but compare your code to what worked to what doesn't.

What a surprise!!! Looks like Bungie is just in self demolishing mode…just like the pancake effect of explosive demolition, slowly one after another the basics in the game go bang…glitch after glitch how does a game just dramatically nose dive…forget the sit on the sofa hype trailer from developers pre edge of fate…. How about a TWIB where they all sit n apologize to the community for their faults n give us chips to pay for exotics we haven’t got or some amazing god roll weapons or free loot in compensation for the -blam!- we’ve had to go through.

Or make everything craftable and use that system to reduce the need of more storage space. Rework the system towhere there's some sort of grind for materials and done

Not "glitched". Bungie fixed something so, of course, they broke something as well. The Vault.

SERIOUSLY, it took me forever to figure out how to store into my vault. Was so NOT happy that the first time I just turned the console off and left. Then alter saw a reddit post talking about this and tried again late last night, still took a while of pressing all controller buttons to figure it out. Naturally it was the last btn I tried too.

Played yesterday (after the patch) and had zero issues removing items from or putting them into my Vault using in-game menus; playing on PS5. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

Same issue. Unable to use vault properly in both character menu and at the physical vault in the tower. Using DIM to mitigate, but vault function in game is bugged.

I started adding my items from my phone just to bypass it until they fix it.

Managed to use pp to transfer to vault! At least that works

I cannot either..from orbit to the vault or from the tower ro the vault there is no ke u icon for it anymore. Bit you can transfer item to your vault with the companion app...
