Still would like some clarification about the exotic stat ranges in EoF... 🤓... Please?
Other than that... Hot Hot Hot.
Truly. Great job.
What is the EoF and the Fate saga through Renegades represent?
To me Destiny 3.
People are asking what the content is... it's those overhauls but so much more.
The early to mid-game? Tell me what it is in this game.
We have ritual activities with limited progression and weekly lockouts. And we have seasonal activities with weekly lockouts.
Everything else in the game is barley utilized and offers no benefit for the player practically per progression. Those activities don't get refreshed, and the loot is not viable or meaningful.
Since the Red War was removed people have been asking for it back... now I know, if it does [come back]... there will be reason to play it.
I still miss the CoiL... and now I know when it returns, I'll be able to level and loot in it.
All these activities throughout the years, that just get forgotten about like misfit toys... have purpose once again. Furthermore, within the Portal the player will have agency in customizing those experiences to determine:
•What they want to play?
•How they want to challenge themselves?
•What loot they want to chase in developing their character(s) & build(s)?
With that... Campaign as core content. Of course, you're not telling us... it would spoil the whole thing. Funny GTA trailers/previews don't receive these criticisms... and yeah, it's relatable. How different will the new GTA 6 be from 5? And now tell me what separated 5 from 4?
Tech, prettiness... fidelity. Soundtracks? All that, in part, yes. The campaign. Certainly for 5. The moment the gameplay reveal showed those opening sequences swapping between characters and narratives on the fly.
The new GTA was supposed to come out in September, now pushed. What do you actually know about it? Other than... tech, prettiness... soundtracks?
Nothing. The game IS the Campaign!
Hit or miss per your perspective so much time goes into Destiny Campaigns as one-shot experiences, and it's never made sense.
To then stake the mid-game on playlists with a single activity and seasonal content that has less time and money to develop. Often obtuse to new, lapsed, and returning players not knowing what to play in order to progress or how to play it.
If there is a campaign... it Should HAVE ALWAYS included the campaign and branching quests; MSQ - the acronyms can vary slightly, the campaign... the "Main Story Quest" and branching side quests. In ARPGs... you level to endgame through the campaign.
In Borderlands you level to endgame through the campaign.
In Destiny for 5+ years you level to endgame via a 12usd RPU... essentially. Bungie devs will understand that last sentence.
The Campaign, as it does in both online service titles and single player games SHOULD be at the core and included in the early game through mid-game to the endgame respective progression.
It will be now.
Bravo Bungie.
Caliente.
😇👍💠.
I'm excited.

14 RepliesEdited by MC 077 Lasombra: 7/5/2025 5:50:56 PMDude ends his suck up post saying Bungie has been failing at designing the game properly then says Bravo for them fixing it… Dude must work in the BDF high command or something lol

6 RepliesLook it’s nice that you are excited and all but it really doesn’t take much to hook you kinds f people in . Songie have pushed the last ounce of Bungie now …mass rehash of old content . Look I got 11 years which is amazing because no other game has come close and I play a few hours a week in pvp . I wanted Bungie to succeed but they are gone now . So this really is a new chapter and beginning for Destiny but it’s not hitting the mark for so many .

My brother in christmas do you happen to work for Krispy Kreme? If not you should 100% apply for a job there. You'd fit right in given the sheer amount of glazing in this post lmao

1 ReplyEdited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 7/4/2025 11:41:34 PMIt feels like they just sort of gave up to me. During the WQ-TFS era I played solely for the sake of the fun combat. You didn’t need to throttle my level or my loot. And I played MORE than ever before. We saw a steady stream of new things for subs or new subclasses and the seasonal weapons had bad luck protection via crafting thus encouraging experimentation. I was playing the game for playing’s sake. It was the most time I’ve ever put into the game and I had the most fun I ever had with it. Now we’re headed back to an uninteresting and not compelling number go up grind. A cycle of temporary grind just for the sake of it. This feels like the wrong reasons to try to get people to play. Like steps backwards. Instead of continuing to separate it from other live service games they appear to be going for the uninspired and bland route of making it too much like them.

1 ReplyOnly a crazy person would type this out and not realize they’re crazy.

3 RepliesMy goodness, it looks like you get excited by the lowest of low bars. Congrats 🙃. Enjoy the “DLC”.

10 RepliesThat’s nice that you’re excited for it. Tbf it’s like giving a penny to a homeless guy while you have $1000 on you, I take it you can point out who is who in that analogy. The amount you pay is what other games make you pay to make WHOLE NEW GAMES, not “updates” or “revamp systems” But enjoy homie

Glad you are excited for this.

14 RepliesPlaying the campaign over and over and over will be a mind numbingly bad experience…

1 ReplyTo each their own. Enjoy 👍
