This Edge of fate is the weakest Destiny content that Bungie has ever done! So little that it should not be called an expansion, more like trying to make the players grind the same 💩 over and over and over and over to fill the lack of content that this expansion has. Yet Bungie u r charging the same as a full year! Please! How greedy can you be? Nobody told you to invest time, money, energy in a colorful 💩 called Marathon. This is bad, it’s like t trying to make the game fail! It’s sad and pathetic. I bet that the next expansion will be the same, WEAK. The only things that next expansion will have to try to make people play it will be the Star Wars theme or collaboration! And not the actual game. What a bright future this shows from Bungie for Destiny. Bungie trying to make some money out of Destiny so they can use that money and resources to fix Marathon.

The Edge of Fate is a groundwork expansion to boost others later. Yes the quality of life changes are free, but that doesn’t mean the story isn’t interesting. Also if you’re mad about re farming weapons and grinding (which is what destiny literally is) then stop playing. You’re post is mostly hate and doesn’t make much sense. You don’t offer a different opinion or side to the argument which makes you’re weak also next time make sure to read bungie’s rules on giving feedback. It may make you’re stand out better “Feedback is Welcome When Given Appropriately We want to hear your feedback, but there are appropriate and inappropriate ways to share it. Feedback shouldn’t be targeted at an individual or team, but at Bungie, the company. Feedback should be respectful and constructive. Feedback that is disrespectful or includes hate speech, personal attacks, harassment, stalking, violations of privacy, or threats may have in-game and real-life consequences, such as contacting law enforcement.“

Destiny Rising already looks like a better Destiny. If only it was on console and wasn't a gacha game.
-
Oh? You played the DLC already? What's campaign story? Real talk though, people like you are why Bungie interacts with the community less. You will whine no matter what they do.

3 RepliesAnyone who doesn’t think they’ve been done for years is a fool or in denial. When a company comes out and says “ we can’t/wont be producing content at the same scale “ that is them telling you they are done. Done with Destiny as we knew it, done with Destiny that had grand expectations of GROWING the base with expansions. Especially when they openly stated it was resource and marathon driven. We even know the # of devs decreased through other valid media outlets. I’ve never seen a more coping, excuse laden community in my life. Destiny is factually downsized, they will still try to seek the same amount of engagement, the price isn’t going down, the content is self admittedly smaller. What does that mean? It’s basically math and understanding.

Bungie has destroyed themselves. Unlike the people who became The Witness, nothing good has come of it. They've become lazy, greedy and careless. There is only one thing they care about now: Making the most money with the least work. They don't listen to us anymore, they don't care about us anymore. Destiny will always have a special place in my heart and the hearts of my friends, but nothing good can come from continuing to support Bungie. They have lost.

Bungie is always taking our content away Bungie never gives us enough content Bungie keeps making me play content I don’t want to play whaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaa I swear people treat Bungie like an ex girlfriend that cheated on them
-
Its your kind of players who will ruin Destiny. It is Destiny, not Disney star wars, do you understand my point? No because you buy that Disney bs and turning our Destiny game in to Disney game
-
I'm going to reserve judgment until release. However, it does seem bungie is taking most of what's earned in Destiny for marathon.

2 RepliesThis is what happens when the community only chase and care for loot!

2 RepliesSaw a podcast were the hosts were saying the issue is expectation, the community expect the same content as usual, but it's never gonna be that given low staff, low budget, studio marathon focus, & it's much cheaper to compensate. I'm like brother it's 100 for the year, the same as usual hence the expectations, & they said rise of iron quality but it's clearly not even close. People screamed when Borderlands was potentially 80, & it's absolutely huge & packed with content for a full year, yet they'll happily pay 100 for this which is the equivalent of free seasonal updates

16 Repliespaying for grinding a armor change seems crazy . why would anyone like that . bungie is reaching .not to mention with a 90 percent reduction in player base this move is going to finish off who ever is left. l don't expect banger sales in fact this could bring more layoffs .

Here comes the bungie glazers look out they're ready to glorp your schlorp

2 RepliesPeople have been saying this every year for the last four years now. See you in two weeks on launch day.

Nothing was worse than season of the worthy aka season of the worthless.
-
1 ReplyDepends on sales numbers and player count after release so a month at most than we will see what happens so until than its anyone's guess on bungies future.
-
1 ReplyThis expansion looks like a typical filler season, not a full fledged annual expansion…
