yeah and you are aware we have cross play which means you would come across PC players
-
yeah and you are aware we have cross play which means you would come across PC players
And you are aware cross play is only active in pvp when you’re in a fireteam with PC players?

I can assure you, it's possible to play on CFW Playstation online. Anecdotally, this platform seems to have the worst cheating.
-
Lol yeah not like people cheat on console 😂
-
I guess lag switches or net limiting don’t exist on console anymore.
-
I guess lag switches or net limiting don’t exist on console anymore.
It does but I never see it in Destiny. I played Gears of War 2 on xbox 360 at launch lol anyone that remembers that game knows how egregious the lag switching was.
-
Dude its everywhere in comp now.
-
Yeah, I remember playing Gears 3 and it was still a -blam!- fest lol
-
Yeah, I remember playing Gears 3 and it was still a -blam!- fest lol
Gears 3 is so good now that it was updated to 4K/60. Still supports 3D tv’s too!
-
It’s only a crisis on PC. Somethin somethin master race...😂
Net limiting is becoming more common on console. There's a guy selling hardware devices for it. I'll screenshot this for when you cry about cheaters in your console only lobbies.

Edited by STARS-Raven: 5/28/2025 9:13:07 PMThing is, these have been a thing since multiplayer games were a thing. Did people just forget that lagswitches are a thing and can literally be made for less than a dollar with a switch and 3 minutes of time?
-
Yeah I've been experiencing lag switches since my Defiance days playing on PS3. Literally can make them via a few items from a hardware store
-
well have fun not modding your games!
well have fun not modding your games!
I don’t play single player walking simulators or open world slop so I’m good 😂

weird response but ok :(

I still can't imagine playing on a console. But - to each their own.
-
Agreed. When I have to play 120 Hz it makes me want to tear out my eyes
-
I can't imagine playing at a desk or using a mouse - each to their own I guess

Edited by BasedShinobi352: 5/28/2025 3:54:21 PM
I still can't imagine playing on a console. But - to each their own.
Yeah it’s so rough playing at 1440p/120fps on my 55” OLED lol This isn’t 2006 anymore.

Yeah, but you really arent playing that, are you..? I mean, D2 is only 1080p at 120Hz or 2K at 60Hz (maybe 4K at 60Hz) On top of that, consoles have lots of things turned off that improve graphics. But... Only $500, everyone has the same system (pretty much), and there are not any hackers to speak of

I am not aware of any graphical features turned off on console.

Except you are stuck on controller which feels bad for pve and makes you feel like a turtle in the menus. You also can’t tab out quickly which means you can watch yt during small downtimes or you can’t quickly open dim to manage your inventory and even then it takes much longer on controller. Then when you play PvP just plug in your controller because it’s better than mnk. D2 is not optimized particularly well so the performance can be pretty crappy even with good specs. I have a 7600 and an rx6800 and I only get around 144 fps at 1440 p but if I optimize by overclocking a little I should be able to push that higher.
-
It's only 120 in crucible to, & only on ps5 & series X - I moved down to series S as I don't play much PvP & my TV is 60 refreh rate & there's neglible difference in pve, so I have 3 S's, 1 on each floor.
-
3 series s ….. Are we srs rn

Great, I have an ultra wide less than one meter away. It was more about having to use a controller. And not being able to access DIM from the machine. But as I said, that's my PoV......
