yeap that's the idea a faster firing more ammo efficient variant of xenophage

love the xeno. can't use it after they nerfed the fire rate though. was super fun before that. lol

I am pretty sure they reverted the fire rate ńerf 3 years ago tbh. (Checked and yes they did) The issue with the gun is the total dmg output that is among the worst of the heavy weapons. It either needs way more ammo (more than double) Or way more damage (same more than double the dmg)

Just increases ammo would be good. The dmg per shot aint that bad. But the total dmg output is miserable.

thus increasing the damage by 15% would be nice, and doubling the ammo reserves would be nutty, and maybe adding scorch on hit would help.

We need to stop adding scorch on every solar weapon as a band aid fix lmao. It basically does nothing to help the guns. Triggering an ignition from time to time isnt the way to go

well I guess making it apply restoration on killing multiple targets could work as well
