Unless you happened to surround yourself with vtubers & streamers, my guess is that most of them fall off 1-2 weeks from a fresh season/episode. Justifying a tedious grind with time doesn't support your argument, it defies it. You're obviously for this change, so what part about grinding 10 levels is fun to you? The RNG on correct slot drops? the hefty amount of resources to buy upgrade modules? Farming/waiting for Infusion fodder?

Let’s think who this change is for. This is for Endgame players not casual players. Casual activities don’t even require you to be at current pinnacle power to be effective. I’d also argue that you don’t even need to be at max power to play endgame activities either. So in other words this change is obsolete and meaningless. So people are crying about a meaningless change. If people actually thought with their heads, they’d see +10 to the pinnacle cap and not care. As for your questions, my entire clan is off and on the entire season. Also you claimed that people fall off after 1-3 weeks yet you provided no statistics to back it. You also make the baseless assumption that I enjoy the power grind. That I enjoy getting dupe pinnacle drops. You have nothing to back that so it’s a null and void assumption. I don’t care about it, because it’s meaningless. I’m annoyed with the sudden outcry about it, making it sound like the second coming of sunsetting. So to reiterate my original response, it’s just 10 levels.

first off its not just 10 levels, its 10 levels per episode. You don't understand how most players feel because you are failing to see the big picture and cant see beyond a single episode. I don't need to provide statistics to you, as I said I was guessing. (emphasis on reading comprehension issues once again). You'd have to be living under a rock to not know that the community numbers are suffering. The fact you are defending this is evidence that YOU think the game is dry with content, so a MEANINGLESS (your words) level grind is precious scarce sustenance for you. The fact you think this way but can't fathom players dropping off after 1-3 weeks is laughable. You seem to be hung up on just the grind in pinnacle levels, but likely haven't stopped to consider all the upgrade modules you'll need to purchase, and the infusion fodder you need to wait to drop to infuse gear to the new max level. Literally everyone arguing FOR the power increase has made it painfully evident they don't consider these factors, likely because they have a concerning amount of free time to where monotonous, unfulfilling resource grinding is but a drop in the ocean of expendable time for you. Ya I suppose IF I had all the time in the world and nothing else going on with my life, I can somehow picture justifying having time stolen from me by Bungie as they enforce a MEANINGLESS (your words) hurdle for me to jump over. Aren't you ashamed of degrading yourself and your argument to willingly being placed on a hamster wheel that you constantly call meaningless? Your entire message can literally be summed up as "This change is meaningless, and that's why players should be ok with the change."

Fair enough. Are you going to continue to use the word “illiteracy” incorrectly? You haven’t used it right once. Actually if you were smart you would realize that I have an implicit thesis. I said “It’s 10 levels in an 18 week season”. Here I used an argument of magnitude to imply my thesis that earning 10 levels is not that hard.

Yes I made a mistake and send back to fix it. So that answers my question about the continued incorrect use of the word ”illiteracy”. You also just agreed with my thesis that it’s not that hard. Therefore, if it’s not that hard you’d agree it’s not that bad. Completely invalidating your stance on 10 levels being 10 too many.

The tax... I did a dedicated post on it. It's not the levels... it's the tedium of inventory maintenance and tax on our previous gains that's the issue.

By inventory management do you mean upgrade modules or weapons? Because I agree the constant need to buy upgrade modules is a problems and a massive waste of enhancement cores. I’m confused on what you mean by tax on previous gains. Because there is no tax on previous gains. You just have to upgrade them with upgrade modules.
