Ice Breaker returns

Best guess is that it’ll be tied to something like armor charge.

I don't think it will regen ammo. I could be wrong, but they might just give it 4th times and a cat for the original function of the Reckoner sniper when you miss.

For a dungeon exotic I’d rather have something new. This doesn’t excite me one bit but I’m sure someone else will be happy. I’ll play the dungeon if it’s fun otherwise for me there’s no point to grind it for the weapon

7 RepliesWas leaked last summer in the 10th anniversary bundle, that ended up being into the light, even the gun names were correct, the only missing item was icebreaker. If the leaks were exact, it said it's reworked & no longer regens ammo. That's probably spot on

6 RepliesWe just got Whisper again, then got another solar sniper that shoots GG shots... So IB is either going to be "powercreep: the gun", or it'll be a placeholder tile on the vault screen. I don't use snipers very much, so it would take a lot to get me interested in it anyway. I'd have been more excited for Plan C or something.

1 ReplyI think it could generate ammo but it should cost super energy. Like maybe a full super bar could generate 5 rounds in PvP, more rounds/super for pve.

I don't really know how they're going to change it to make it stand out in the current landscape tbh The magazine refill aspect is already fulfilled by Reconstruction / Rewind Snipers. And I don't think the thin air regen is really that useful when most competent players aren't plinking away at a distance Maybe they'll lean more into the explosive aspect this time around? But Cloudstrike is already eating its lunch there, so I really don't know Like, they'd honestly have to do something out of pocket to make it stand out by today's standards, for me anyway

Meh. If return possible will nerf timer and damages. I doubt useful on PvE but pvp is possible. Some of friends thinks icebreaker will change element like stasis cuz make sense of name title of weapon.

a very slowly recharging bar that only fills 50% over time, that fills faster by dealing damage with the weapon. Granting ammo each time the bar is filled. Or something along those lines is my guess.
