Thank you for the memories Bungie!
After playing this franchise for the past 9 years, I'm finally ready to move on. I never imagined I would have stayed around as long as I did. Obviously, there were some expansions and such that were trash, but some were also epic. I've made a lot of great friends along my journey in Destiny which I highly value and will continue. However, due to really poor decisions by management (Sony, Bungie, etc) I'm done! No more of my money will be spent on a game that is now completely dead. Just spent 2 hours trying to get into a raid! Guys, the game is dead. Just publicly say so, and let's move on. Best wishes to the gamers that I have raided with and such, many of you were such blessings! Wish the best for you all in D2 and in real life :) Take care Guardians!

2 RepliesGame has been dead for years. This is their only running viable product and it’s been dead for years!🤣🤣🤣 They can’t fix it then, they can’t fix it now. These guys have no talent left at all they can’t make a good videogame now, let alone make another new and different mediocre game again.🤣🤣🤣 Everything they touch now is a complete mess!!! They killed their golden goose a long time ago. This company is toast! 🤣🤣🤣 Laughable in the industry now. Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!

3 RepliesI stopped giving them money a couple years ago. They haven't proved that they know how to manage a game yet. I guess wasting the player base money on other projects and letting a huge chunk of their employees go because of those other projects was an smart move, huh?

Yea I stop play in general I went back to Diablo 4 where they have a real skill tree and build it the way I want it and make me a walking god of destruction.

The moment a weapon is not even OP but powerful they're sure to nerf it. They should take a page out of the borderlands 2 playbook.

2 RepliesPretty much in the same boat. Didn't buy this installment nor the season for the first time since inception. Refuse to spend money on Bungie anymore after buying every collector's edition since the very beginning. Lightfall was the last straw for me. Almost deleted from console a couple weeks ago. That's the only thing left. I still log in from time to time to just shoot stuff. Not sure why. Muscle memory, I guess. I used to work all day with the sole intent to get home and play. The writing was on the wall for me when I'd look at the icon for D2 and dread spinning it up. I'd look forward to the TWAB; now I never read it. I'd scour the boards for the latest on how to do stuff and watch youtube for primers on raids and then dungeons. Can't be arsed, now. Had loads of friends playing and could quickly jump into any activity. They're gone and matchmaking has always been hit or miss at best. It's all over but the shout.

I was unlucky to go away right when Salvation's Edge dropped, then could never recover as the 'herd' were ahead of me when I got back. Still have no raid completion and this new GM is hard. Was too low light (below 2005) when it came out to give it a try. I still say that Bungie made a mistake releasing this expansion right before the summer holidays. Go well Guardian! It's been a pleasure!

Same. I've been here since the beginning and enjoyed it a lot and have stuck it out through the low points, and for the first time, not even an ounce of me is interested in logging in. New things aren't really new. Once fun activities are now a pointless slog. Fun builds get tamed or nerfed. Fun or strong weapons get nerfed. The fun has been sucked out of the game in favour of mindless grinding or complex hoops to jump through. It's time for my ghost to go off-line and let my once godly guardian decay into stardust, let the darkness spread and consume what little light remains.

I don't believe it's dead. Yet. But they need to change in lightning speed should they want to save the sinking boat. Put your clients first. Currently they seem to be between a rock and a hard place. I just can't see beyond FS year. Whatever. All the best for everyone.

1 ReplyHow were you trying to find people for raids? Fireteam Finder is infuriating so the Legacy LFG is better. Or join a clan to get peoples to play with? I’m sorry it got to this point for you, but hit me up if you ever pop back online and we can see what trouble we can get in to!
