Dares of Eternity is stupid (vent/rant)
I’m sorry but get rid of Dares of Eternity or drastically increase the lightning round potential. This game mode is old and stupid and offers nothing at all. The only thing it offers is a shader. A shader I want but is locked behind RNG nightmare. Rounds and rounds and rounds and rounds of a braindead and pointless game mode with no future in the game and not a single lightning round because “RNG”
I’d rather you just get rid of the game mode and me not be able to earn the shader than lose my mind playing this boring and pointless game mode. Sorry to all who enjoy it. I’m the guy spinning in circles in the back of the arena. I’ve played it too much to care anymore.
Also I’m aware some will say “it’s just a shader” and I agree. That’s why it’s ridiculous that it’s this ridiculous to try to “earn” a shader. This game mode is old and offers nothing new at all. Increase the lighting round potential to 50% or just get rid of the game mode

Immense headloss. On the other hand, do you just need a certain number of lightning rounds, or is it RNG after one? I have the shader but dont remember how I got it honestly 😂

How do you get the Shader? Is it just a random chance of looting from the box at end of activity?

If bungie removed an activity anytime anyone said this mode is stupid fix or remove we wouldn’t have any activities left

Make it useful and add exotic cyphers as random rewards and I would run it.

How many sugar cubes did you give Starhorse? (the shader is at least 365 sugar cubes) No seriously it is totally abandoned.. it needs a focusing element and to go into a rotator to enhance player interest.. take it down > add focusing > rotate.. save server space.. make players happy.. make dev work efficient & worthwhile. (its actually a fun activity if made worthwhile) -
I got so close to getting the tiger mask but just got bored and lack of rewards that are actually worthy .

It’s like drinking soda nonstop while whining about it being bad for you… So why are you whining? Seems like there’s a second problem: you Wanna know why they won’t remove it? Cause you play it….
