This hunter meta is insanely broken. Worst meta in past 3 years

9 RepliesI Hunter main & don't even touch the new sh*t in PvP.... I'm actually finding my year 2 base build is better now than it ever was. Still...... I'm vs these guys same as you and don't have any particular problem with them. What it is.....you're way to comfortable in your Titan zone for years. Be honest with yourself.....you'll be further ahead. Titan mains are predictable as hell except for the top of the mountain players. Jugg-shotty, obligatory shoulder charge room entry, panic barricade bailout .....the list goes on for years...... .....all of these were easy enough to adapt to from your opposition's stand point because.....again.....highly predictable. But what you have on your hands with new Hunter builds is something with more layers to it......particularly in CQ where you've grown way to comfortable on Titan cheese. Fact. Yes....all classes have cheese but these guys are in your A - space now. Shoe is on the other foot.....so adapt. I almost never say this but......clear cut skill issue at this point in history. I'm sure you'll become better at dealing with them, but right now you're behind the curve. Hunter main vs Hunter main is different because you understand better. Figure it out.. The new Hunter builds are still going to be strong even after they're nerfed because it's a functional kit.

The major problem is how strong wombo combo is now with improved smokes and how strong swarm grenade became. If you're one of the NPCs crying about clone when it's been in the game for over a year and been nerfed stop running in to them like a red bar trash mob.

Nah over shield bubble spam and Antaeus storm bade before that was worse.

12 RepliesHunter needs a nerf but saying this is the worse meta in 3 years is delusional. Let’s not forget about PK smg, invis lorentz / omni LoW, antaeus, and triple void overshield bubble titans. Is this meta perfect? No. Does it need a lot of work? Of course. Are hunters overturned? Yeah. Is it the worse meta in three years? Obviously not.

Had to report a stalker for whatever reason he insists he's 1 of the elites I mentioned, not likely brother, keep trying.

3 RepliesI play dawnblade exclusively and this DLC I swapped to Hunter lmao The actual problem isn’t the individual abilities. (The super needs tuning, 2 times and a smaller AOE is fair) But the fact it has EVERYTHING Grapple, swarms, smokes, freeze + clone dodge at same time 🤣 (best anti titan ability rn) the strand knife etc Hunter is what the other subclasses should be Give warlocks icarus dash.

I think it's funny that they literally nerfed ability regen with the goal of reducing ability spam.... then introduced prismatic. I also think it's funny that they wanted to reduce special ammo uptime, yet now it seems like there's more special ammo to be had then ever before.

It is more of an ability meta than ever before. Lucky if half my kills come from primary weps. Player movement speed is king. Move fast, kill fast, and move on faster.

Not even bothering to touch PvP because I knew what the meta was going to end up as.

It's more annoying than anything. Those abilities combined together are disruptive and slow down gameplay.

Ikr it is literally the perfect hunter - every single part of the kit serves so many purposes and each effect is strong. The only thing is it misssing is a zone super but the arc super is very good. It’s impossible to counter you when you are edging.
