So, every night after I sign off... I sleuth in the game.
I have notes I take while I play... stuff like tile breaks in architecture that I share with OoB explorers I know.
Stuff like a Ghost with a Red Eye.
Turns out I'm the only one interested in it, and afterwards I set out to try and figure out the mystery.
So, I started researching all the different ghosts, and the circumstantial evidence strongly indicates for what ghost it is... Spoilers in the spoiler tag, be forewarned; but 1st let's talk about the Facet of Mending:

This prismatic fragment unlock requires a hidden mini quest as shown in the above guide. It requires you to find 4 "dead" ghost shells in the Lost City.
One is missing, but once you find 4 you get the fragment after a small, plate-based, combat encounter.
How do I know one Ghost is missing? Again, spoilers in the tag... you were warned.
Germaine's ghost required the remains and innards of five damaged ghosts. That mystery Ghost with the red eye is Drifter's "Ghost". We do not know its name yet.
😇 👍💠
Where is the 5th? Is this foreshadowing a heel turn? If the 5th ghost, was a ghost... in a different instance/timeline... a ghost we know? Or...
....our Ghost?
3 RepliesPutting years old common knowledge in a spoiler tag is funny. https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/outlawed-reaper-bond Explains the importance of the red setting: manipulating Darkness. Well we’ve not only learned to use it without the red setting but also how to merge the two. And when have Ghosts from other timelines come into ours, besides never? Ridiculous spinfoil as usual

1 ReplyHermann has managed to correlated a group of four ghosts with an entirely unrelated story with absolutely no connection. The ghosts aren’t being salvaged for parts, we’ve not lost our light, we’re not on an icy planet nor are we being stalked by mysterious Darkness creatures that stop us from being resurrected. There’s no reason to draw parallels because they don’t exist.
