The new fireteam finder is garbage.
Since the release of it I haven’t been able to complete a grand master or the new pantheon. The quality of candidates has actually gotten worse. Not to mention that when attempting to join a fireteam they are already in the activity, full. Also there is no way to let people know you are on a specific encounter. So for the pantheon when I was able to get in, I literally never found a fireteam fighting gilgoroth.

7 RepliesFireteam Finder isn’t garbage. It’s a pretty well-integrated system, in all honesty. The problem is the new players who join LFG’s titled “Must have experience, Microphone required, META loadouts”, then on-comes a guardian with blue gear, no idea what to do, and no mic.

Yeah. It's a 100% downgrade in every aspect compared to the old in app one. Once they remove the legacy version, it's game over.

For raiding , i get it . I don't raid anymore since they came up with new fireteam finder . Too many trolls that kick you for a stupid guardian rank or whatever that bungi only came up with a year ago . A veteran player with all the knowlegde about destiny is most likely not rank 11 , yet people are making posts that require you to be a certain guardian rank . 😂😂😂 But you cannot do a grandmaster ?? I have been farming GM's all week with lfg . If you want , i can do it with you . 😉

For sure. Just put the app fireteam finder in the game.

You can inspect people in the fireteam lobby and decide if it's gonna be a hard run and leave before clicking ready. You can join a fresh clear pantheon run just by looking for the words fresh clear. It's not the same as the old version but it takes some getting used too.

It's the nature of the game. If you don't have friends who play then it's hard to play.

Yeah I feel like this in game fireteam finder is a bit more casual and the legacy app version is more like seasoned. Kinda hard to get a team together for raid through in game vs the app without getting too many casuals who don’t know the mechanics very well.
