Cheaters need nerfs
Once again, players doubling their KD in trials this week with 80 and 90+% headshot accuracy with auto rifles and even saw a 96% with an SMG on console. I played checkmate trials on javelin before all of the changes and it was 10x better. Now, all you need to do is spray an auto rifle and get extremely high headshot accuracy. I know some players are good and I can tell when they are normally a 2kd player. But they are usually between 70-80% headshot accuracy. So I don't see how players are 3-4kd this week when their stats are way worse for every season before and higher headshot accuracy than the regular 2kd players. I've seen several players with new accounts too

2 RepliesCheaters dont need nerfs. What they need is a direct console ban. What I want them to get is violent and not appropriate for the Forum Commissars (Ninjas) to bear witness to. It would hurt their sensitive emotions.

2 RepliesEdited by TACO_Adept: 3/24/2024 10:06:46 AMUpping the requirement for crits only encouraged the deadbeats to go out and buy cheat hardware too. What a dumb move! If you think they are suspect, check their no. kills/damage dealt. The extra aim assist helps them get kills with less shots, hence less damage. If you think they are cheating, report them... Screenshot their player profile, stats and weapons and attach them to the report. And if they're a team, report their clan. If they're on Steam, report them their too. Nothing like opening the game to get a Thank You screen from Bungie because you nailed a cheat.

I hit my shots more than most people, and if I play smart and get myself into 1v1s it’s easy to not die. The most recent update made it so that there is an even bigger skill gap in the game than there already was. Everyone in my friend group is doubling their kds because we didn’t crutch abilities like everyone before the update. Im not using accessibility devices, and I streamed most of my game this weekend.

Cheaters have always ran rampant in this game. The only time Bungie seems to make a big deal out of it is when sites selling those cheats don’t give them a cut. Then it’s a “Lawsuit” and look what we done moment. Cheaters add to the player count has been a Bungo staple since Day 1.

If they are cheating they need a mass excretion. I'm over here burning the midnight oil and then when I walk around during the day all tired from working people tell that I need to be taxed for stuff like this. You can't just look at that and tell someone has been cheating though but you're right once people start getting into the 90s with sbmm or more skill related forms of matchmaking something is probably up with something.

6 RepliesHi so now that high rpm aggressive frames like summoner are back in the meta, kds and headshot percentages have been skyrocketing because its much easier to use an AR instead of a HC (i speak from experience). they arent hacking theyre just able to hold the trigger while looking at your head instead of having to strafe and tap the trigger

Bungie making autos the meta was the worst possible thing to do in this sandbox since cheaters are notorious for using autos and smg when they cheat since they bypass all recoil and hit all headshots, far out-ttk-ing every other primary. Even without cheaters, I knew this auto meta was going to get old really fast. It took me two quickplay matches after the update went live to foresee autos being a problem. And here we are… I’m pretty sure they’ve been the #1 weapon type used in trials every week since the update. I won’t be playing pvp again until they get brought wayyyyy tf down.
