Console players are ruining PC-experience
Sorry, nothing personal against console players, but I am tired of having black screens and annoying long load times to tower and activities, everytime console players are in my instance.
I spend a lot of money for a high end PC and broadband internet connection, which is just put ad absurdum when playing with console accounts.
Just give people the opportunity to switch off cross play or do something to speed up loading times for consoles!

6 RepliesKoroiNeko's right. It's not just you. I play on PS5 and I deal with long load times and black screens as well. The likely culprit is high server traffic, akin to a four-lane highway during rush hour. That or Bungie's getting DDoSed again.

14 RepliesFirst of all you CAN disable cross play yourself so matchmaking activities only match you with PC players. Second of all it isn’t just console players. I run a PS5 and have negligible load times because I pay for better internet. So a PC player with crap internet can suffer the same load delays. Not everyone can afford higher tier internet speeds. Calm down.

I want to preface this by saying I think you should be able to turn cross play off as a PC player BUT your comment about broadband is a little confusing...are you saying PS5 players dont normally have broadband or is there something inherently slow about console vs PC?

I'm on Series X and experience the same long load times as you when going to the tower.

Who is forcing you to play with console players? Disable crossplay in the settings.
