Doesn’t mean he is dumb, just that if he is a well natured guy he can’t operate on assumptions, for his own safety and yours. Being rejected is the surface level fear a guy faces. Being called a creep or -blam!- predator can destroy a guy. Not just emotionally but socially as well. Maybe not openly declare your crush in bland words, but you gotta give him the window of no doubt. Flirting can be seen as just friendly very easily.

I already know the foremost half, I'm a guy too. Also, flirting can be seen as friendly? When in all the hells is calling them hot straight in their face being "friendly".
