The graviton Lance change was fantastic
This gun just oozes space magic, thank you for buffing it so it’s decent, don’t feel it’s overpowered in any way! Got a few very funny 5 and 6 kills from killing 1 person last night, this is what power fantasy is all about, well done bungo

1 ReplyI feel like the change made it worse in PvE. I liked having the Super bullet for the 2nd -blam!- vs the spread.out damage to both. Seems like it doesn't have that hard hit now. It also was good in PvP prior as well.

1 ReplyDo y’all not remember the old Graviton meta? Most we ran out of medals I ever got. It used to be a MONSTER. Then of course everyone was using it and as Bungie does, they nerf it into oblivion. Enjoy it while you can. As it gains popularity, it’ll meet its end once again.

3 RepliesAround 40% of all pulse rifle kills are due to Graviton. I'm sure it will be nerfed to drop its usage. On the other hand, Immortal accounts for 30% of ALL primary kills, and it's still kicking. So who know. Maybe Bungie is okay with things being overused

As someone who has mained Graviton since it came out, I can tell you now it is too powerful, and will likely get nerfed again due to crucible. Couple things to consider before you start bashing. The gun dealt extra flinch due to how it was throwing the damage on the back end of the pulse, and now it deals that same amount of extra extra flinch, but much faster. It's TTK while not great, puts it in the Comp range when you consider its range of engagement is about 14-70m having one of the largest margins for error in the game. The aim assists is obviously best in class, allowing anyone to pick it up and learn quickly how it works. Its explosion can almost kill anyone close, and sets up chain kills very easily. Combine this with absurd usage rates, basically means it is likely to get killed next season (if bungie tunes anything else at all with marathon and such) I love this gun, it is literally my favorite. But when it becomes so powerful so fast, it makes me sad, because no matter what in PvP bungie is going to mess it up. they cannot admit they overbuffed it right away, so itll lurk for months in the Meta, or they throw it back into obscurity. the nature of the gun makes it so difficult to tun properly.

Exotics being allowed to be strong as Exotics should. Such things cannot stand, and it is destined that Bungie will inevitably slit Graviton's throat to protect its vestigial and toxic Crucible.

I’m glad it got buffed, but the damage from its void projectiles after defeating a target deal a lot more damage than I remember.

What you meant to say was, "It's terrible and nobody uses it. I don't eve know why it's in the game!" That way Bungle will leave it alone. If you say it's fantastic then they'll want to nerf it again.

I like it’s change but I would like to see a damage nerf to the little explosives in pvp not in pve.
