Anyone want to explain why it is that I have to complete a dungeon in one go instead of breaking it up into parts to get a triumph?
-
Why wouldn't you do it in its entirety ? The only dungeon that has a non encounter that i would skip, would be Shattered throne. Its in between encounters is just far to long.
-
It makes it more difficult to get the triumph.
-
Because doing it in parts is for losers
-
Because it’s a challenge meant for only the best players?

2 RepliesI have no idea why that. I've solo'd flawless 2 dungeons and that was a long sweaty slog solo. Did Pit of Heresy with my Titan for the Harbinger title: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEJiAnp65Ew and Shattered Throne with my Warlock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMNCpLxxjIE I was going to Solo Grasp of Avarice with my Solar Titan, but then the "New & Improved" Class changes came out and I don't feel confident with that at all. Also that Sparrow race crap can be very arbitrarily messing your run up and the 3 final bosses are another sweaty slow grind.

2 RepliesEvery part of spire aside from the first boss is piss easy solo
-
Even if it could be done... 1. It defeats the purpose of the challenge 2. Bungie would spend dev resources (if any) to make something for Eververse rather than switch a flag in their code. If their code is not written in this way... Well, that's another shambles of a problem for them 🤣
-
3 Repliescuz it will be too easy and people will cheese using boss checkpoints, simple
-
Bungie is too lazy to lift that requirement for non-flawless runs.

4 RepliesI’ve soloed dungeons. I’m not doing spire. Mainly because of Akelos at the top. Not sure who decided it needed that much hp. It’s not worth my time. Next season I’ll see what the new dungeon has to offer. I’m not holding my breath though. If the last two dungeons are anything to go by we’re screwed. At least soloing grasp when fighting the ogre you felt like you were getting somewhere… all the bugs and extremely tanky starter bosses just aren’t fun.
Anyone want to explain why it is that I have to complete a dungeon in one go instead of breaking it up into parts to get a triumph?
Because thats the point? Difficulty? Seems obvious its been this way since Forsaken so why complain now? You didn’t before
-
10 RepliesThis is a stupid objective for level 11. If they change it to where you can save your progress for sure, but until this happens, no thank you.
-
Because it’s part of the challenge? Solo dungeon triumphs have always required you do to the whole thing in 1 go
-
1 ReplyBecause that’s the rules of the challenge. It’s the same reason you have to dribble the ball in basketball. Games have rules & guidelines. Quite being ridiculous.

Anyone want to explain why it is that I have to complete a dungeon in one go instead of breaking it up into parts to get a triumph?
Because you could simply grab a boss checkpoint from LFG and skip 3/4 of the activity.
-
2 RepliesThat’s not all !!! Why do I’ve solo the dungeon again if i already have done it solo flawless ???????
-
4 RepliesI'm Rank 11
-
6 RepliesBecause bungie hates players enjoying the game
-
Yeah they're not getting my time for this one.
-
5 RepliesEven being patient, it doesn't take much more than an hour and a half.
-
If I'm doing the Ironman I don't get to stop, go home and pick it up later. I have to do the whole thing. Same principle here. Does it suck? I could see how one would think so, but I also kinda get why it has to be done in one sitting.
-
What you mean, Eververse is working as intended.
-
-
I remember shattered first came out you couldn’t reset, so if you messed up and died on a flawless run you still had to finish the damn thing before you could try for flawless again… Good times
-
I could understand requiring one sitting for flawless for the sake of potential exploits, but for just plain solo completion, it’s unjustified.
-
Because you are a bungie customer….
