Destiny 1 can’t connect to servers

I am new to destiny 2 but loved it and bought the collection for destiny 1 but it won’t launch past the connecting to servers screen and responds with error code chicken. I’m on series S and it’s been two days i’ve been trying to play it. Someone please help
