Everything is either bright dust or everything is silver. So, if they combined them into silver; we'd earn silver on the season pass. If they combined them into bright dust, we'd still earn bright dust on the season pass but the packs you buy for real world money on the store front would sell bright dust bundles instead of silver bundles. Either way it is much more consumer friendly. I know Fortnite is a meme and all, but their model is still the best. You can earn enough premium currency in the current season's pass to buy the next season's pass if you wanted (or spend real money to buy the season passes and use the earned currency to get the cosmetics).
