Kill the abominable device keeping me alive and stop playing D2

Do I feel the pain of death?

Honestly, I’m more afraid of dying than actually being dead. The thought of dying repeatedly would be torturous. Your supposed power is a curse; I don’t want it!

How does the revival work? Will I be healed from the fatality, or do I continue suffering from whatever killed me the last time? If the former, does my body slowly regenerate itself before I revive, or am I completely reconstructed to normal via magic? Does it take time to revive, or is it instantaneous?

I dunno, do an IRL Revenant cosplay, die in a staged skit at a convention, and then -blam!-™. I'd go viral or something. Then I'd go figure out how to be the BBEG for whoever is the protagonist here, because the plot of Earth is kinda boring right now.

Well technically, I would be the remake of the movie "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray. Or as another Guardian mentioned, Wade Wilson/Deadpool. However, I would have fun. I would tell everyone that I'm a Werewolf and every time that I come back from dying, I would get stronger. Or, I would start a new cult following and everyone would bring poptarts as sacrificial offering. I don't know, I stopped drinking the Kool Aid a long time ago. 😂😂😂😂

Have an existential crisis.

1 ReplyTo be honest, I'd probably go insane like Wade Wilson(DeadPool). Being revived over and over again has to have some affect on the mind. Knowing that you're going to lose and outlive all the people you meet will probable bring me down into tears often.

1 ReplyDepends, you mean like revive on the spot or revive at a checkpoint/#time earlier If the former: I wouldn't try kill myself cause sh#t hurts. Perhaps I'd do riskier stuff, heck maybe join the military The latter: live. That's all

1 ReplyEdited by Altmith: 11/9/2022 5:39:19 AMBeing dead isn’t the part I have a problem with. I haven’t been alive for more of history than I have been. But Getting dead is not something I look forward to experiencing. And this doesn’t address that unpleasantness other than saying I’ll have to deal with it potentially innumerable times. So I’m probably going to keep trying to not die. But with the knowledge of my return, I’ll probably put myself at risk in place of others where I could. Assuming I wasn’t harboring an incredible amount of ptsd from any early deaths in the process that would get in the way of that.

3 RepliesThree ideas- 1. I would kill myself immediately after I would be revived. 2. I would experiment with all the options of how I would die. 3. Kill whoever revived me and then kill myself so I stay dead

Try not to die...

I’m gonna be like Annie of the Stars, running a TV show where I’m the main character’s voice actor, but also hiring people to play me so nobody catches on that I’m immortal.
