Because the non stop toxic replies when they do post here in response to anything. How anyone can be confused why they don’t interact here is beyond me. Is this really confusing to you?

Lol are you kidding me? That’s the she was asking for it mentality. Completely out of line and out of touch with reality. It isn’t ok to be toxic toward any of their employees over a game. It’s a game bro and perspective is needed. I don’t know where you work or how your family and friends treat each other but here on planet earth, that’s unacceptable and wrong. Reading the comments attached to weekly TWABs was telling and I completely expected that they would exit stage left on this board. Civility is where open dialogue begins not insults, threats and rude behavior. Too many people that post on this board have no tether to reality.

This. UK is acting as if all these things are happening from Bungie in a vacuum. Bungie stopped posting here because of the non-stop ABUSE (some of it very lurid and very personal) their devs and CMs used to take on a regular basis. For which the perpetrators never took any responsibility for, and WAAYY too many of the rest of us made excuses for. This place is a toxic environment where "gamers" are never responsible for anything. Including their own behavior. ( Which ironically, UK echoes in his own post, "Our behavior is Bungie's fault, not ours!!") So Bungie realized that there is no upside to engaging with us...at least enough to warrant the headaches, hassles and outright abuse that comes along with it. So without the CMs and devs to abuse, these individuals take out their toxicity and frustrations out on other posters.

  • How does a person reason bad behavior? If I worked for them I’d read comments here but never post. This is the communities fault not theirs. Honestly it’s sad because a lot of the community are great people but unfortunately on this forum it’s a lot of toxic players and ex players.

  • In reverse order: 1. Happy people are quiet in their contentment, while angry people want the whole world to know they’re mad, and that their right(eous) in their anger. 2. It’s always easier (on the ego) to assign blame than to accept responsibility. 3. Three ways: My ends justify my means. I had no choice/ I’m a victim and not responsible. Lastly, The world needs to change so that I can stay the same. IOW we tell ourselves and other people little (or in some cases big) lies in order to protect our self-image, justify selfishness, or hypocritical double-standards that work in our own favor. (Do as I say while I do as I wish…)

  • Yeah I remember how they used to be very engaged on these forums - really listening to feedback - until they gave up.

They didn’t give up but instead refused to put up with constant abusive comments. This forum is responsible for their lack of interaction. Nobody who wants to go to work to be verbally abused over and over. It’s that simple.
