These are tiresome, and there's a reason master raids are the least run activity in all of destiny. It's because as soon as I get that title, I'm never doing that crap again, and I'm sure not doing it with LFGs.
Signed,
Someone who's done master raids with LFGs.

1 Replymaster should have 10 oryxs in the final fight
-
2 RepliesChampions are easy but ruin the game feels because you must equip to deal with them instead of what you like
-
58 RepliesFirst, they gave you a recycled raid. That’s laughable standards if you compare it when Activision was here. Second, they gave you Champions. That’s not a new raid mechanic. That’s an old boring enemy character. Make this enemy do this, and make guns do this to them. 🤣Ahahahahahahaha! That’s not creativity. It’s an old character from a couple years ago. That’s beyond laughable. That makes you wonder who the heck is making these decisions. And the worse part is, who approved it in the board room. Beyond laughable!

5 RepliesFor the same reason any "difficulty" modifier in destiny is "this enemy has extra health and you die in 1 hit" Bungie's creative limitations
-
10 RepliesI remember the original Kingsfall where hard mode had some new extras such as the light eater knights. At the time they said they designed the raid for hard mode and then dialed it back for normal. This made it interesting on the first runs because it increased the difficulty and stakes a but, but was not silly. I thought there might be new champions where before there were none. But nope, just spammed existing ones. So people will do this for the title and flex and then bounce.

5 RepliesI fail to understand why anyone is surprised. Champions have been Bungie's go-to for "harder content" since their introduction in Shadow Keep. Master VoG = more champions Master Vow = more Champions Master KF = more Champions It's all they can do. You bet your buns that Leviathan, Spire and Eater Prestige would have champions all over the place too whenever they bring those raids back. I'm just surprised that Deep Stone, Last Wish and Garden don't have "Master" variants yet. I very much liked their approach to difficulty back in D1 where the normal mode and hard mode version of the raids had different mechanics and different enemy spawns, granted in hard mode they usually just replaced Red bar tanky enemies with majors, nonetheless, it made it more challenging without it being stupid. But that's Bungie's "challenge content" checklist - copy/paste champions everywhere - add about 5 mores 0's to enemy health - add about 5 more 0's to enemies damage output - add modifiers that stomp your buns - death by architects o'plenty

5 RepliesFinish your Gambit Seal brother; you only need protect the runner.

2 RepliesLove King’s Fall and the changes they have made. Hate Master and the champion spam. Personally might make this the first raid seal I don’t go for as did not enjoy going for the raid challenge last night. I have a good team and little things caused wipes - no recovery possible. Wonder what the % of players who do KF and do KF on Master. Suspect Master will be low.

1 ReplyMaster Raids aren't run in destiny often these days because there's no point to an adept weapon when there's crafting the same weapons, not because champions are there. It's triumph and done, as you've said yourself. If they truly wanted to make it worthwhile again, the rewards for master challenges would be an already lvl 20 crafted weapon with enhanced perks and master worked. People would actually farm them, instead of having to earn materials for crafting and then levelling up the weapon. Just my opinion on it.

1 ReplyI feel you with LFG. All my friends quit so I'm stuck LFGing. I know a lot players think they're hot stuff but they only know how to do one role and never want to step up and take a tougher role. For example I LFG for KF totems challenge and I kid you not this is the responses I get: What's the challenge? How do I do the challenge? I mean look it up. You LFGed off your phone specifically for the challenge, how can you not figure it out. Like in-between teaching a random everytime they join and then those randoms quitting it becomes basically unbearable.

16 RepliesWell, did it work? I mean since champions are everywhere now, and the list of anti champion weapons is growing and include machine guns, shotguns, and sniper rifles this season, the community should be not only used to, but more efficient at taking them down.
-
1 Reply“Because making content is hard. “ lord Vader. It’s an artificial bs mechanic. I liked it when there were actual additional or different mechanics required in hard mode.
-
3 RepliesIt's the least run activity because only a small portion of the community raid, and of those, an even smaller amount are willing to put up with the fun of it being challenging. Master Ketchcrafts are not even difficult - I was able to pull them off without much difficulty when it launched, and I was nowhere near the recommended light level. If you had a bad experience with LFG, that's your fault. LFGs are toxic, whiny spaces. Clans exist for a reason

2 RepliesI’m tired of champions. All they ever do is mess up my load out.
-
19 RepliesEdited by DarkMoonWolf666: 9/21/2022 6:17:54 PMThey are the least played because its a top % activity ....raids already have low % If you still can't deal with champion its 100% on you You have 1000+ raid (probably mostly checkpoint ) and still don't understand this? Master difficulty is mostly about needing to do the challenge and not really the champion they are a byproduct of the default master modifier

3 RepliesEdited by AubsTheBelieber: 9/22/2022 10:04:53 PMAll champions do in Raids is Govern your loadout aka limit your loadouts so you match the mod requirements. This is already done enough in Nightfalls. Let me run what I want in a Raid. I don't feel like running a Pulse or Shotgun for Unstoppables. Maybe I feel like running my Vex and other stuff!

4 RepliesI just want the ship, but seems impossible to get to 1600, or at least 1590, without melting my brain in a mindless, tedious, boring grind, with the little daily gameplay hours I have... -.-
-
5 Repliesprobably just me, i like champions and i dont mind with master but bungie need to make loot rewarding, like craftable adept weapon,no need to make extra powerfull or anything i just wanna put my adept big one specs on my weapon

4 RepliesAsk me how many time I ran master vog once I finished the title...ans: 0

12 RepliesBecause Bungo are a lazy, greedy, creatively bankrupt dev that only cares about charging as much as possible for as minimal effort as possible. Or Because addicts continue to throw money at the screen and allow Bungo to get away with being a lazy, greedy, creatively bankrupt dev that only cares about charging as much as possible for as minimal effort as possible.

8 RepliesMaster versions shouldn't really be a thing, it splits the community. Just add increasingly difficult achievements and give rewards accordingly. Problem solved.
-
The problem with master raids and GMs is the Artifact grind. I skip the artifact grind every other season so I don't burn out.
-
1 ReplyBecause Bungie's creative juices have run out.
-
4 RepliesTo be fair have you tried vow with an lfg group about 90% of people playing this game can't read symbols or do banners in duality. So I guess champions are the pretend difficulty we get instead.
-
1 Replycause no one likes a timer to get it done by, so it's the only way to make it difficult, honestly they should raise the light level another ten for master and be done with it
-
10 RepliesI think instead of champions they should have put lightbearer hive guardians instead it would've made more sense in my mind they did make a good challenge in the legendary campaign and we haven't seen them since
