Making a three page thesis on why we shouldnt pan bash sweats, which they heavily deserve, is just gona either make us pan bash em more or not even bother to read your text and instead troll you mercilessly.

That's alright man, my target audience wasn't you then anyways. Hopefully you can be more constructive in the future so we can actually have open discussions Bungie might consider.

“Discussions that Bungie might consider”…….If you still have faith in Bungie to the point where you still use the word “might” then Im afraid you’ve moved from hopefully peaceful to straight delusion. Bungie hasent given a single shred of care towards anyone but sweats and streamers since the Activision split.

Sorry but that's simply not true. Since I started playing Destiny 1 in year 1, meta's and changes have consistently been changed to suit the casual base as Bungie's strategy has seemingly been targeted at ways to retain the casuals. I even benefited from Bungie's mentality when I wasn't great at the game. They know dedicated players will stay no matter what and thus have often neglected a lot of their feedback and implemented changes against their wishes to appease the wider player base e.g. the current meta/maps/sbmm/penalties. I've adapted to this and kept playing, until now when I've had enough and switched games. I'm not delusional at all, I don't play the game anymore because I'm over the way they've treated PVP. However, I still think it's important to have a discussion because most of the reason Bungie doesn't listen to community feedback anymore is toxic arguments with no actual insight or value given and instead people just throwing out insults like being delusional. That being said, I hope you can actually ready what I wrote, understand it and come back with some constructive points. Have a good one.

Edited by Blackfang1911: 9/18/2022 11:26:11 PMYou’re starting to write thesis’s again. You do realize that the changes made in D1 were different because, One. Activision had a say in the matter and Two. Luke Smith was highly incompetent and had no idea what affects his changes had on the vast majority. While Activision had its own problems and folks didnt like how they ran certain aspects they did at least keep things relatively balanced an each weapon had a roll to play.

I think our ideas of a thesis are vastly different but I did a science degree so maybe that explains it. To me it really doesn't matter who was making the changes, I don't care if it was activision or Bungie or Luke, I've never cared who had the hand on the wheel, just that the wheel was being steered in the right direction. The right direction doesn't even have to be my perfect vision, but just one that was transparent about reasons for changes and why, and that had explanations behind the 'data' they choose to follow. I agree, there was a time that every weapon had a role to play but that is definitely no longer the case. Again, if you could actually read the original post and give proper thoughts then that would be appreciated otherwise have a nice day.

My way of telling ya you’re being too long winded. Cut it down, get your point across, and wait for response. Reason you dont get any decent discussions is cause you go with paragraphs that folks dont care to read each and every time. On the following note though, no need to get upset about folks lighting up the try hards. Unless you are one yourself, that includes differing opinions too. Too much of that in life for my liking as is.

Noone has a decent discussion on these pages because they don't take the time to actually get their point across. Every other post just sprouts the same topic and the same replies with no counter points. I'm glad you tried to respond, but I just don't think this is the right thread for you son. Thanks for the feedback regardless.

Good constructive feedback, well said!
