Why does Bungie not support the real Guardians of our society?

I've noticed Bungie for some reason does not ever post any support/tweets thanking Police, Fire, Active duty Military, Veteran's or other protective/first responder services in our society. They are the real GUARDIANS that protect us from bad things, events and allow us to have the freedoms in this country we have unlike other countries... I know some of these first hand because I'm the SO of one of those Guardians who deals with terror threats to our nation. On top of it, many of these real guardians play Destiny 2. I have heard from a few I play with who served in the military and also retired police and they have mentioned Bungie doesn't have a pin for veterans or first responders. This is absolutely unacceptable. 99% of these professionals are good people who protect us. Every major corporation today had a tweet thanking our Veteran's and nothing from Bungie. Not a thing. Not a peep. Not sure why and IMO this is unacceptable. Also this has nothing to do with D2 being a world wide game. Apple for example is a world wide company. They had a thank you Veteran's tweet today. Bungie please put a tweet up supporting Veteran's today. You can still support all the other causes out there also. This isn't an either/or scenario.

  • Hi. Thanks for your feedback! As a US citizen, I completely understand your desire and want for a Veterans Day emblem. It may not be possible since our game is international, but it's something we will consider for the future.

    • In today's society, you aren't allowed to support all groups - just the ones that feel a need to be recognized for their personal preferences. It's almost laughable - but not really.

    • You’re asking the wrong question. Why do they support any group. This is a game and all it should be we come to forget reality for a bit.

      • Bungie is PC (politically correct) They’ll support a fraud organizations if it means they fit in, before mentioning a holiday that supports the real hero’s. Welcome to 2021 in america, let this be a sneak peek into year 2022 and beyond.

        • Bungie is a Liberal company that has been involved in real life anti Police protests and other activities. I doubt that they will ever have something related to real life Military, Police or anything in that subject. It's so strange because their game is based in military ideologies. The Vanguard is just the Last City Police/Military but Bungie employees hate real life police. Bungie has made everything political because is good PR, like every other company right now. They have done emblems for firefighters but I will eat a bag of poop and stream it live if they release an Emblem or anything related to the Military or the Police. Also their excuse for not making something related to the subject Bullpoop. We live in weird times my friend.

                  • It's a nice thought but where do you draw the line? What about support for Nurses? Or Doctors? Or even Bus drivers? One cause may be worth supporting to you but not to others. Bungie isn't under any obligation to support any group, but they choose to support a select few. This dosn't mean they need to include every other group too. Games are a form of escapism for most - let's leave it that way as much as possible.

                            • As a vet myself I get embarrassed talking about it, or when I get told thank you for your service. Its not that I am not proud to have served my country, rather that I joined up to defend my country and those that cannot defend themselves. Imo there should be NO real life political mentions/promotions made in a space fantasy shooter like Destiny. When you elevate one cause above others this division happens. I would much rather commemorative emblems/shaders for events that have happened in the games lore. Have a Battle for Mars day, or Lost Guardians pilgrimage shrine where kneeling in front of endows the guardian with an emblem/halo etc. could even do crossovers with other games like halo fall of reach day. But leave politics, religion and real life causes out! We come here to escape all that,
