"Trivial" means something like helping to shoot a semi-automatic gun quickly when a user has trouble physically clicking/pressing a button. What you described with traveling between destinations is far more than trivial.

What you are talking about is computer program which is not allowed. Allowed macros are special controllers to help disabled players (even though auto fire controls on a pad are allowed as it is a controller not a program doing it).

A macro that adds together a large number of trivial tasks is no longer trivial, it's just an automated bot.
